Charles-Philippe Laperrière a.k.a. Sgt. Joly was born somewhere in the northern realms of Québec with a wild groove in mind. As he grew up, he listened to too much music, and, accidently, played guitars and drums. Then he produced a few electronica tracks along with his homie Tchoque Cotvin. At that time, he worked as an alternative music DJ in a Montreal bar that no longer exists. Today he's going crazy mixing minimal, tech-house and techno.

CPL got a Ph D. scholarship in modern literature. Sometimes he writes down bizarre things that mix up his tastes for poetry and sports.
